Hi, thank you for your enquiry. We still haven't sorted this yet, but we hope to announce a recommended campsite soon. The ManxCacheFest will be published on geocaching.com in February and all the details will also be posted on this website - manxcachefest.com
We are happy to recommend the Peel Camping Site, who have also agreed to accept visitors with dogs. Although Peel is across the island from Douglas, it is a charming place with a full range of facilities.
You can view their webpage here: http://www.peelonline.net/wheretostay/campsite.htm
Peel campsite is adjacent to the swimming pool, near the supermarket and a few pubs & restaurants. It is also a very level field with loads of electricity hook ups and is in walking distance of Peel town centre.
It is a distance from Douglas but yet fairly central for the Island in general. It is also at the start of the Heritage Power Trail with a return bus service too.
Is there a specific campsite that everybody is intending staying at?

This wasn't very well advertised on the Isle of Man! Are you doing the same next year so that us locals can join in?
